I am interested in several species of beetles. I study Lucanidae mainly currently and collect a document and specimens. In addition, I do those breeding.

Dear Hiroaki ,
Only now I know who you are!
Sure I remember.
Actually I want to fix an old mistake -
I told you there are old specimens from Jerusalem and Carmel in Israel.
I found out only this year that these are false records. The only loc. now are Golan and Upper Galilee area (mainly near Mt.Meron).
I hope all is well with you. I'm now studying the Cetoniinae and Glaphyridae
of Israel but also few other species like the Lucanus cervus in order to understand their occurance here. Only this year I finally manage to understand the Lucanus cervus population and actually see it in the wild but there is more to learn.
