Hello forum. I found this cutie walking on my bathroom floor. Can someone tell me what it is? (Picture is my profile picture). It was about 8-10 cm long and about 1.5-2.5 cm wide, very meaty and very hairy... Scared the crap out of me when I saw it... | |

Looks like a larva of a Lasiocampidae sp. You can remove it from your house but try not to touch it with bare hands since these hairs can be a bit nasty. It might belong the following species:
