About Me
I am a serious amateur coleopterist living in Julian, California, USA. Julian is in the mountains, but within an hour's drive or so we have access to high and low desert, and the Pacific Ocean. This means lots of beetle biodiversity! I love this site, Oz, and have been visiting it regularly, and am really enjoying the great images of beetles on it. I can see some things in common between our US desert beetles and those of Israel, but lots of differences, too. For example, you seem to have a fantastic variety of tenebs, and we do too, but yours are very exotic-seeming to me! I am open to exchanging beetle specimens from my part of the world for beetles from Israel, particularly tenebs, lucanids, scarabs and cerambycids.
