Hi

  I need an identification to the beetles in my photo from Tell Beit She'an.

  If there is any Biblical reference to beetles, either in general or these ones, pls tell me so I can add it into the page.

Hi Rotem,

This is not a beetle. It is a "Pishpesh".

Its latin name is Graphosoma lineatum and it belongs to the Heteroptera.

Its hebrew name is "Trisit Hapasim".
