Hi,

 

Found this scrab that looks like Onthophagus but realized there are some dozens species in Israel from this genus.

Is it possible to guess the ID from a photo?

At the moment it is only a guess and I say it because of the shape of the head (lower part) - Onthophagus fracticornis.

However I will check it more deeply and let you know when I have a 100% Id.

Thanks Oz,

Since head shape variant according to sex it could be somewhat confusing, I think the head shape of the one in my photo implies for a  male.
