Israel Insect World

Tropinota ilariae (Dutto, 2007) was described recently from a male specimen collected in Tiberia. Another specimen was also 

collected in Jordan and a third specimen was collected near Hebron in 1987 and only now identified as T.ilariae as well.

T. ilariae (Dutto, 2007) is now added to the Israel checklist on the website with new photos taken by Guido Sabatinelli (see bellow).

If anyone thinks he might collect it an email would be most welcome since this is a new specie that should be more studied.
